Best Diablo 4 Necromancer builds for leveling, endgame & PvP

The Necromancer class from Diablo 4 is returned to revive the dead and dispatch monsters from a distance. To increase your damage output, we’ve assembled the top Necromancer builds for leveling, endgame, and PvP.

The Necromancer has consistently been one of Diablo’s most potent classes, and Diablo 4 is no exception. The Necromancer is one of the character classes in the game that many people are already familiar with and adore, just like the Barbarians and Sorcerers are. The greatest Necromancer builds in Diablo 4 focus on using a horde of undead minions because they can deal damage from a distance and up close.

In Diablo 4, the greatest Necromancer builds include a strong emphasis on controlling a group of Skeletal Warriors, Mages, and the Golem with care. The Skeletal magicians bombard demons with spells from a distance, while the Skeletons and Golem attack adversaries directly. When it comes to dealing damage, the Necromancers themselves have a variety of choices, relying on a combination of spells and curses as well as some brutal melee attacks.

Here are some of the top Necromancer builds for Diablo 4’s leveling, endgame, and PvP to help you combat the forces of Hell and become a steward of the harmony between life and death.

Best Necromancer build in Diablo 4

The Skeleton Army Necromancer build is currently the best Necromancer build in the current Diablo 4 meta. Since the game’s debut, this build has earned some popularity. The Necromancer in Diablo 4 currently has the greatest build, in our opinion, after testing it ourselves.

The build utilizes a potent Skeleton army, plays to the Necromancer’s advantages, and gives the player a great deal of freedom and opportunity for experimentation. How to put together the greatest Necromancer construct is shown here.

Best Necromancer leveling build summary

When the game starts, you’ll have the ability to call out four skeleton warriors. You may make this group of boney minions incredibly lethal by concentrating on specific abilities as early as possible.

The Necromancer’s Book of the Dead, a different collection of talents that control your undead minions, can be accessed after you complete the game’s opening quests. Only the Skirmisher variant of the Skeletal Warriors will be unlocked at this early stage. But once you have the option to choose the first Skirmisher upgrade, you can learn how to call forth a fifth Skeletal Warrior.

To increase your minions’ health and damage output, upgrade the passive skill Skeletal Warrior Mastery as soon as you can. Your five skeletons will become significantly more strong thanks to this, which will require three level-up points to fully upgrade.

You’ll be able to call forth three Skeletal Mages once you reach level 15. The Mages will remain back and aim shadow damage at foes from a distance, in contrast to the Skeletal Warriors. Choose any improvement you want from the Book of the Dead, but be careful not to choose the Sacrifice option. Your minions will be sacrificed in exchange for a buff for the necromancer, but your ability to summon them will be lost. Therefore, avoid that since that is a completely different build.

In order to ensure that your Mages are completely enhanced, you should additionally invest three points in the Skeletal Mage Mastery. At level 25, you can finally choose to summon a Golem. Golem Mastery can also be increased by three points to make the already formidable creature tougher.

To get the most out of this build, invest three points in each of the following abilities as soon as you can because there are other passive talents you may use to buff your minions:

  • Bonded in Essence – Mages can heal other minions
  • Death’s Defense – Minions can’t be instant-killed by one attack.
  • Hellbent Commander – Minion’s damage output increased by 10% when they’re close to you.
  • Inspiring Leader – Buffs your minion’s attack speed when you’re at full health.
  • Kalan’s Edict (Key Passive) – Improves minion’s attack speed by 15%. This doubles if more than seven minions are active at once.

This will complete your zombie army and enable you to confront Diablo with an entire team of minions. Additionally, it is currently the greatest Necromancer build in Diablo 4.

Best Necromancer endgame build

After you reach level 50 and have experienced Diablo 4’s conclusion, things alter as you enter the endgame. This means that the build you used to get here might no longer be adequate, and you’ll need an endgame build to fully enjoy the endgame content.

Keep in mind that you will need to respec your skill points if you wish to change from the above leveling setup to the below endgame build. Alternately, you could just create a new character and start the game with the endgame build, skipping the campaign in the process. Your decision is yours.

The Bone Spear Necromancer is currently the greatest endgame Necromancer construct in Diablo 4:

We advise sacrificing each minion for the various advantages that it offers because this build doesn’t require them and uses passives that benefit solitary Necromancers. Of course, the Leveling Build also functions in endgame if you don’t want to roll solo. Just be mindful that the Bone Spear Necromancer currently has an advantage in strength.

How to use the best Necromancer build in Diablo 4

In Diablo 4, the Necromancer class’s primary goal is to use death as its main weapon and do damage far away. To gradually weaken adversaries, you can call skeletal minions and cast Bone, Blood, or Shadow spells. Necromancer is actually appropriate for both solo and multiplayer play.

Regarding the Necromancers themselves, you have a choice as to whether you want to take part in the battle alongside your minions or remain in the background and help them. The leveing Necromancer build is fantastic because it provides the player a ton of flexibility in how they deliver damage.

Keep an eye on your minions’ numbers and raise additional Skeletons if any perish in combat to ensure that they are supported. Curses, spells, and long-ranged attacks like Bone Splinters and Bone Spear are additional options for supporting them. Alternately, you can approach close to your opponents with your Necromancer and use abilities like Reap to do a ton of melee damage to them.

Enemies are put on the defensive by curses and spells like Decreptify and Corpse Explosion, making it easy for you and your minions to take advantage of them.
